Shenandoah Qualifiers

We were part of the winning alliance and won the control award at the FTC Shenandoah Qualifiers in Virginia, on December 16th, 2017.

Heritage High School Regionals

We had an eventful competition at Heritage High School Regionals in Virginia, on February 3, 2018. We won:

4 out of 5 matches in the qualifying rounds

1 out of 3 matches in the semifinals

We achieved 4th place in the finals.

Overall, we won the following awards:

Control award – 1st place

Motivate award – 2nd place

Inspire award – 2nd place

Connect award – 3rd place

Virginia State Championship

We were semi-finalists and ranked 10th place with a record of 3-2-0 at the Virginia State Championships in Richmond, VA, on Feb 24th, 2018.


Haymaker Expo

We had an FTC station at the Haymaker expo at Battlefield High school VA, on January 27th, 2018. We diplayed our robot and allowed hands-on demos to over 50 kids. We added a plexiglass panel to our robot on which we proudly displayed our amazing sponsors!

USA Science and

Engineering Festival

FIRST invited us to display and run our robot at the USA Science and Engineering festival in D.C. on April 7th and 8th, 2018. About 300,000 people attended the event. We set up a booth and displayed our robot. We also provided kids with the opportunity to run our demo robot.

TJ Techstravaganza

We taught kids how to use Mindstorms programming language and provided them a basic understanding of Mindstorms and ev3 robots at the TJ Techstravaganza, on May 19th, 2018.

World Robotic Olympiad Regional Tournament

We held workshops, gave tutorials to kids, and had hands-on demos of robots at the World Robotic Olympiad Regional Tournament. Over 500 people attended this event.


This year was an exciting and eventful year and we are looking forward to many future events this upcoming year!
